Lawn Care Specialist - Spray Technician Description: Our Spray Technicians ensure the safety and appropriate application of chemical products and fertilizer to enhance the quality of our client’s landscape. Responsibilities include: Production goals-works diligently with the branch manager in obtaining monthly production goals. Identification-of insects, weeds, and diseases as it relates to job function and implement appropriate control solutions. Communication-able to interact with clients and also branch personnel as to activities as it relates to the clients landscape investment Equipment and Warehouse-ensures standards of cleanliness are being adhered to daily. Responsible for organization of equipment and products. Ensures proper disposal of all pesticide/fertilizer residue and containers. Safety-responsible for personal, equipment and vehicular safety as it relates to job requirements. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Ability to work alone. Be able to drive a vehicle from job to job as assigned. Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body in order to be able to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time. Be able to reach over head with hands and arms; climb or balance; Be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Maintain physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned job tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: Weekend and overtime hours as necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is can be subjected to strenuous work in adverse weather conditions.
